How to Choose the Right Size Wall Art
Buying wall art is exciting — but choosing the right size? That’s where many people get stuck. At Arti Mura, we want your space to feel balanced, stylish, and effortless, so here’s a simple guide to help you pick the perfect size print.
📏 1. Know Your Wall
Before you fall in love with a piece, measure your wall. As a rule of thumb:
- Large spaces (like behind a sofa or bed): Choose 60×90 cm or 50×75 cm
- Medium areas (like hallways or office walls): 40×60 cm or 30×45 cm
- Small spaces or gallery walls: 20×30 cm or 30×30 cm
🎯 2. Go Bigger Than You Think
Most people underestimate how much space a print needs to fill. If you’re between sizes, always size up. Bigger prints make a bolder impact and add depth to a room — especially with wood prints where texture plays a major role.
🖼️ 3. Use Multiple Prints for Balance
Can’t decide on one? Create a set of 2 or 3 prints side-by-side. Use symmetry for calm, or mix styles and sizes for an artistic gallery wall.
✨ 4. Don’t Forget Scale and Furniture
The artwork should be about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it. A large print above a bed or console looks intentional — not like an afterthought.
