Colour Unbound – Abstract Woman Paint Splash Art Print

Description

Colour Unbound

A Quiet Face Inside an Explosion of Colour

A woman’s face fills the composition with her eyes closed, surrounded by sweeping black marks, drips and bursts of yellow, orange, violet, red and blue. The expression stays calm even as the paint around it feels energetic and spontaneous.

Colour Unbound works through tension: stillness at the centre, movement everywhere else. It is expressive portrait art with enough scale and colour to command a wall without relying on a literal narrative.

Curation & Materiality Each finish brings a different character to this piece:

• Fine Art Paper: Fine art paper holds the facial detail and fine paint splatter with the greatest clarity while keeping the colour transitions precise.
• Gallery Wrapped Canvas (4cm Profile): Canvas amplifies the gestural brushwork and gives the dark background and bright colour bursts extra physical depth.
• Birch Wood Print (10mm thickness): Birch wood warms the yellows and oranges while introducing a subtle natural undertone beneath the expressive paintwork.

Size & Scale Guide

Note: the Small / Desk poster size is produced at A4 (21×29.7cm) rather than 20x30cm — a very close match in scale, with a slightly different proportion.

Design Insights

• Orientation: Landscape format, with the face centred as a strong close-up focal point.
• Suits: Contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, studios and interiors that welcome saturated expressive colour.
• Craftsmanship: Every piece is individually reviewed by our studio before print to keep the face crisp while preserving the energetic edges, drips and colour splashes.
