Scarlet After Rain – Red Autumn Cityscape Art Print

Description

Scarlet After Rain

A glowing red autumn tree reflected across a quiet rain-wet city street

A vivid red-orange tree burns against a restrained cityscape of cream, grey and black, its colour echoed in windows, lamps and broad pavement reflections. Tall façades and distant domes fade into the rain while vertical paint runs exaggerate the sense of weather and light.

Scarlet After Rain reduces the city to atmosphere and contrast.

Curation & Materiality Each finish is chosen to support the artwork’s colour, texture and atmosphere.

• Fine Art Paper: Museum-quality 200gsm paper preserves fine architectural lines, layered red foliage and delicate vertical rain marks.
• Gallery Wrapped Canvas (4cm Profile): Amplifies the textured paint surface and gives the glowing red tree and reflected light a strong gallery presence.
• Birch Wood Print (10mm thickness): Warms the cream and amber areas naturally, helping the autumn palette feel softer and organic.

Size & Scale Guide

Note: the Small / Desk poster size is produced at A4 (21×29.7cm) rather than 20x30cm — a very close match in scale, with a slightly different proportion.

Design Insights

• Orientation: Landscape composition with the red tree and glowing building balanced against an open reflective street.
• Suits: Modern living rooms, hallways and offices that favour bold colour within a neutral palette.
• Craftsmanship: Controlled drips, impasto-like texture and mirrored pavement create a layered urban scene with strong tonal balance.
