Time in Motion – Abstract Clock Art Print

Description

Time in Motion

A Clock Face Pulled Through Colour, Rhythm and Motion

A large clock sits slightly off-centre within a rush of translucent shapes, curved lines and geometric fragments. Coral, orange, powder blue, navy and violet move around it like time breaking apart and reforming.

Time in Motion turns a familiar object into something energetic and almost architectural. The Roman numerals keep the composition grounded while the surrounding colour suggests movement, memory and speed.

Curation & Materiality Each finish brings a different character to this piece:

• Fine Art Paper: Fine art paper is ideal for the crisp clock markings and layered translucent colour, keeping smaller details controlled and clear.
• Gallery Wrapped Canvas (4cm Profile): Canvas makes the sweeping forms feel larger and more immersive, with added depth across the darker blue sections.
• Birch Wood Print (10mm thickness): Birch wood lends warmth to the orange and coral areas and softens the technical feel of the clock motif.

Size & Scale Guide

Note: the Small / Desk poster size is produced at A4 (21×29.7cm) rather than 20x30cm — a very close match in scale, with a slightly different proportion.

Design Insights

• Orientation: Landscape format, with a circular focal point balanced by strong diagonal movement.
• Suits: Modern living spaces, offices, studios and interiors that benefit from energetic abstract colour.
• Craftsmanship: Every piece is individually reviewed by our studio before print so the clock detail stays legible within the surrounding layered abstraction.
