An Imagined Ancient City Told Like a Painted Relic

Rows of stylised warriors stand before a fortified city beneath a great golden sun, with banners, shields, animals and symbolic figures arranged across a deep black ground. The scene feels part mural, part archaeological fragment and part invented history.

Empire Chronicle uses flat shapes and weathered gold, ochre and burnt orange to create the impression of a surviving ceremonial wall painting from a civilisation that never quite existed.
